Haiti

I have a story I would like to share. This Is Robenson, his wife, Farah and his Mother.

You never know where life will lead you. I thought when I first met them that they were all so kind and sincere. My second year in Haiti I created another program to help families. If you have not been to Haiti then it might be hard to understand the daily struggles of life. No electricity, No running water, No fridge, No clean water, No washer, So many no’s. One thing I knew right away about Robenson was that he was that guy. Yes, the one who helped set up, the one who help after and even stayed late. He is that guy who lends a hand, his heart and dedicates his life to serve others. If you know him like I do, then you know. His wife is so kind, patient, sharing, encouraging, inspirational and behind every good man, there is an AMAZING woman. Right? Right! She is AMAZING and so supportive. I had no idea that years after meeting them that together with LOTS of help we have THE SUNSHINE HOME IN HAITI. It is a home for children whom their parents are dead, abused children, street children and Slave children. Abuse on many levels. As you can imagine most all the children have not been in school as well. Robenson and Farah along with lots of help including monthly sponsors have been able to make a HUGE impact in their lives. Currently there are 14 children in the home. We are always looking for sponsors. Handshealinghearts.com

Click below for more details. We also 2 facebook pages, Hands Healing Hearts and The Sunshine Home (In Haiti) We also have a Tik-Tok Chanel.

In life we never know who we will meet along our journey and the impact we have on one another. However, I know I am a better person because of the example of Robenson and Farah. Merci Thank you so much, I love you so much.

Episode 16 Keep Going The World Needs You with April Betti

April was a young mother, when she had her second child and her first child passed away—she dealt with major depression during this time. She describes this time as “dark and ugly”, where she couldn’t get off her couch until she found some relief with medication. She felt uncomfortable with the meds and got off them. As she got off her meds she turned to running, nutrition and service. She now owns a not-for-profit that supports impoverished people including an orphanage in Haiti and other places, she’s also created a grief and loss group in her community. She says “so much has come from my darkest moments to the brightest moments in my life.” She does 3 things every day 1. break a sweat, 2. laugh, and 3. serves somebody. Botanical Gardens Memphis, Tennessee

I love bridges. Really! I love Memphis! Here is a few pictures at the gardens and a video of the cute kiddie area. I wasn’t sure I’d fit in the slide but I did. Good times. It was a lovely day indeed. My eyes genuinely loved Tennessee. Before I arrived I was singing I’m going to Tennessee see see to see what I can see see see but all that I can see see see is the bottom of the deep blue sea sea sea. I did see all kinds of good stuff. For now this is what I’ll share about some of the things I did see in Tennessee. You can follow me if you’d like. I post often and I travel often.

Crystal Shrine Grotto Memphis Tennessee

This cemetery is so unique and lovely. Recently, I was in Memphis, Tennessee. I will be sharing more of Memphis soon. Life is all about living and that’s what I do. (Most days) Since Losing friends and loved ones my perspective has changed a lot. Some friends and family are alive but live like they are dead. You may know some too. It’s a reminder when I visit cemeteries just how important it is to live. Live in each Moment and share the beautiful places my eyes see and my heart feels. Being blessed and grateful is a choice. What you say you become. Pay close attention to what you are creating more of. I Am blessed (receive more) I am broke (receive less) I am statements hold power and it drives me bonkers when I hear myself or others create the opposite of what is really desired. So, listen up! What do you really want? Go.Do.Be. You were born to live so do just that. No, that doesn’t mean exist. It means live. If you’re looking for a life coach I’d love to be yours. You can find the details on this website. Anyhoo, I love you. Go be brave, go be you! Watch the video at the end of this post. The video takes you inside this beautiful Shrine. I absolutely love it. It will take you to my YouTube Channel where you will find lots of videos there.

This will take you to my YouTube channel.

Coffee Enemas

Me this morning! 12-14-2022

What kind of Crap is she talking about now?

Some good CRAP! Who else does Coffee Enemas? Or who else admits it besides me? Why? Why would one do such a thing you might ask or wonder. Let me tell ya why!

Today I did my last coffee enema for this year! I got a lot done today. Over the last decade plus I have been doing coffee enemas because I feel they are good for me. They aren’t for everyone.

The purpose of coffee enemas is to stimulate the liver to increase its detoxification of the blood and decrease the toxic load on the liver. This includes removing a variety of toxins and free radicals from the bloodstream.

Coffee enemas have appeared in medical writings dating all the back to ancient Egypt and have been cited in case reports and articles from the late 1800s.

The coffee solution is not held in the liver. In fact, it’s held in the colon. The vessels in the lower part of the descending colon and rectum carry the solution to the liver. The potent compounds in coffee are absorbed by the hemorrhoidal and mesenteric veins that route to the liver.

I am a huge fan of The Gerson Therapy. I follow their way of how I make the solution. 3 Tablespoons of Organic light or medium roast ground coffee. Put in coffee maker along with 8 cups purified water not tap water. Brew it and then let it cool to room temperature. Then fill your bag or bucket system. Relax and hold for at least 12 mins once you have it all in. I have actually coached people on how to do this. It is an easier process when you have someone who has figured it out as far as what may help and what makes it more comfortable. Anyhoo, I just wanted to share this with you.

One Thing I swear by

And what is that you might be thinking? Or perhaps you swear by this too! Have you ever followed someone on social media or gone to their events? Me too! In fact this is one of my favorite things in the world. Yes, that is a bit extreme and maybe its not really one of my favorite things in the world. However, it is one of my favorite things that I do for my body. There is this girl, her name is Robyn Openshaw. Also known as green smoothie girl. I LOVE her knowledge. I believe my friend Stephanie told me about her. The reason I started implementing these drinks into my life was because I needed a better way to live and being on not 1 but 2 different anti depressants was not the life I wanted. Don’t get me wrong they served a purpose because if you know that story then you know I could not get up off my couch. To do the dishes, make dinner or take a shower took just about everything in me! Ha! Facts. Well Over a decade later with no pills I did find a better way for me. I am sure my life would be so much different if I still took Prozac and Wellbutrin. I am forever grateful for the courage in me that at the time I did not even know I had. Also, the feeling of my back to the wall and this “feeling” there has to be a better way than to be on them for the rest of my life as I was told. It was by far not my best moments in my life yet it has been added to my collection of what is really a part of who I am.

The recipe: Greens of any kind, frozen fruit of any kind (Berries have great benefits) and water. Go heavy on the greens. That is all you need to make this drink along with a blender. I have used just about every kind. You DO NOT NEED A FANCY BLENDER. Just make sure there are no big chunks its more enjoyable that way.

That is my current blender. It works great. I have had this one a few plus years. I started making these green smoothies with a blender that was just a standard blender. I made it work. That is what we do, right? Make it work.

The goal is always 32 ounces a day of green smoothies. A daily green smoothie has profound health benefits! This is why they are one of my favorite things in the world. If you have a “feeling” follow it. You never know where it will take you. I Am grateful I followed the feelings when I clearly had no idea where it would lead me. Which is the story of my life.

When plans change, try this.

Life Happens and we can be an active part of it. Here is me on a day I once again had some Awe Ha moments. These are the best moments of my life. Besides my grandbabies, my own babies and all their parents!

On this day, I woke up early and got ready for the plans I made before I went to bed. After getting ready the text came in that those plans were not happening. So! I quickly did that prayer I do ya know the God let me do your will not mine. So, my heart said, you stick to your plans anyways. Of course I had hoped he had other plans for me but I know to follow my heart. I went to the AA meeting alone because the 2 going with me were tired. Which I totally get. So, I went and after instead of getting coffee with them at Feel Love Coffee I ended up here at this garden.

Face it, Whatever “it” is.

This day was everything I really needed.

Time with ME, Myself and I.

First I face it. I do not run!

Then I Pause…..

I have learned to just take it all in. Allow. Don’t force. Just be.

You got this! Be so Brave,

Do Not Be Afraid. It will pass.

I focus on whats in front of me!

This place is a great place to pause and be in the present moment. If your needing a pause get out in a place where you can just be. During the Holidays there are lots of opportunities to go and be. Pausing is what really works for me.

Recipe Pumpkin curry Yum

What does food have to do with your mood? Everything! What we eat affects every aspect of our well-being. If you eat like junk you most likely will feel like junk. You always pay for your health. Either pay now or you pay later, the choice is always yours.. Ingredients ingredients ingredients. Read those labels. If you don’t know what the word is it’s most likely a chemical. Here’s a simple recipe that’s super yummy. Yum! Yum! Remember, when we are grieving and experiencing loss and different emotions it is extra important we don’t lean into junk food. Those foods will never help us in the long run. In the moments possibly but you definitely will thrive when you eat real food. Just cook some quinoa, add some spicy pumpkin curry on top, add some cauliflower and some peas. Or whatever you have on hand. Enjoy!
